The XAT, or Xavier Aptitude Test, is an online computer-based (CBT) management entrance exam that admits qualified applicants to India's best B-schools for MBA Courses. Every January, it is held by XLRI, and more than 1 lakh students sign up to take the test.

You must develop a successful XAT preparation strategy and stick to it up until the exam day if you want to ace it. The only additional portion of XAT that necessitates special preparation is the Decision-Making section. Otherwise, the preparation for XAT is identical to that for CAT.

As per the latest updates, registration for the XAT entrance exam has been started from July 15, 2023. About XAT Examination

The Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI) commissions XLRI Jamshedpur to administer the XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test), a national-level entrance examination. The exam is used for admission to various management programs offered by member institutes across India.

A national-level exam called the Xavier Aptitude Test is given to applicants for admission to PGDM and MBA programs at more than 160 universities in India. At various testing locations in more than 70 cities around India, the XAT 2024 exam will be administered in a computer-based test format.

Steps to Apply for XAT Registration 2024

Follow the below-mentioned steps to apply:

Step 1: Go to the official website i.e., xatonline.in

Step 2: Click on “Register”, and enter your name, mail id, and contact number to generate the user id and password.

Step 3: Login to your account via registered user ID and password. Fill out the personal details and qualifications and click on “Save and Next” to submit the information.

Step 4: Upload the required documents as instructed

Step 5: Pay the application fee using various payment methods such as UPI/Net Banking/Credit or Debit card.

Step 6: Apply and save the receipt for future reference.

Step 7: This completes the XAT Registration process. Candidates will receive a confirmation message on their assigned phone number and email address regarding the successful completion of XAT Registration 2024 when the application cost has been paid in full.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must have a UGC-recognized bachelor's degree in any discipline, with a minimum three-year duration.
  • There is no age limit to apply and people with any age can register themselves.
  • Final-year students are also able to apply as long as they graduate before June 2024 and furnish the admissions committee with the necessary mark sheets and degree certificates.
  • Foreign citizens and NRIs may also apply for admission to XLRI as long as they have a valid GMAT score.

Documents Required

  • Intermediate and Matrix, Graduation, and Master’s mark sheet or certificate in PDF format.
  • Passport size recent photograph in .jpg or .jpeg format. Avoid black or dark backgrounds in photos.
  • Candidate signature under 20 KB

Key Points to Remember

  • Following the instructions will allow you to complete the payment procedure since the application form is integrated with the payment gateway.
  • Once the transaction is finished, an electronic receipt will be generated. 'E-Receipt' not being generated denotes PAYMENT FAILURE. If a payment is unsuccessful, candidates are recommended to try again by logging in with their registered email address and password.
  • Indian Rupees are indicated for Card prices. If you use a credit card that was issued outside of India, your bank will apply the most recent exchange rates to convert the purchase price to your local currenc
  • Debit Cards (RuPay, Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, and Mobile Wallets are all acceptable methods of payment.
  • Please wait for the server's confirmation after submitting your payment details. To prevent double payment, DO NOT PRESS THE BACK OR REFRESH BUTTON.
  • Candidates must print their online application form and electronic receipt. Please be informed that if the same cannot be generated, an online transaction may not have been completed.
